“We have a diving board that is 12 feet long and 1 meter tall with special handrails for safety,” said Peggy Barton, pool manager.

Lifeguards are always on duty.

Family night at the pool is Wednesday, and Barton encourages families to attend the event and enjoy swimming and pizza for $2 a slice.

Along with being open to the public, the pool is available to rent for private parties after hours, and it hosts aerobics and swimming lessons before the pool opens.

Water Wizards Workout is 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning June 4. It is led by Sharon Rodgers, and cost is $75 for the summer or $3 at the gate. She can be reached at (940) 575-4928.
